A Room of One’s Own

Well, actually a  house.  Yes, this week-end I am on my own and plan on being a woman of leisure. It’s been well over six months since I’ve had the house to myself.  No husband, no noise, no stress.  Just me, the puppies and my other assorted critters.  How have I managed so long?

I barely know what to do with myself with all this free time…oh wait, yes I do!

I’ve bought some fresh croissants to have with churned butter and homemade jam, no cooking for me.  I’ve got a quilt to work on and a stack of books to read on the hammock (probably naked, I love the breeze on my bare skin!).

Ahh, sweet freedom.

Aren’t you glad you haven’t forgotten how to enjoy being alone? I sometimes think it’s an art.
